Amarillo ISD Launches Digital Tickets, Clear-Bag Policy at Dick Bivins Stadium
New online system and safety measures target smoother entry for fans at Amarillo high school football, volleyball and basketball events.
How we reported this

Amarillo ISD has activated HomeTown Ticketing for varsity football games at Dick Bivins Stadium, allowing fans to buy digital tickets that can be printed or shown on a phone at the gate.
The change arrives ahead of the 2025 football season for the district’s four high schools and pairs with a clear-bag policy already posted for the stadium. District staff said the moves are meant to cut lines and tighten security screening for spectators.
Venues and access points
Football contests for Amarillo High, Caprock, Palo Duro and Tascosa are played at Dick Bivins Stadium. Volleyball and basketball games are held at activity centers on each of the four campuses, where only paper tickets are sold on site one hour before tip-off. Sub-varsity football games at the stadium also use on-site sales only.
Coaches add game schedules to a Rank One Sport calendar as each sport’s season nears, with the district promising the dates will appear at least two weeks ahead of the first contest. Summer-camp information for all four schools is already posted on the athletics site.
Ticket prices and policies
Pre-sale digital football tickets cost $8 for adults and $3 for students when bought through HomeTown Ticketing before 5:45 p.m. on game day. Paper pre-sales at the athletics office end at 3 p.m., and the office closes at 4 p.m. on game days. All tickets at the gate are $10. Sub-varsity football is $4 for adults and $2 for students with no pre-sale option. Volleyball and basketball tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students at the activity-center windows.
Gold Cards and AISD employee badges are accepted at both venues. Purchased digital tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged for another game.
Fans with questions about the digital system can call the athletics office at 806-326-1102. The district’s athletics page at amaisd.org/athletics lists the HomeTown links for each school and the full clear-bag policy for Dick Bivins Stadium.
